Mr. Masood has over 30 years of hands-on development and management experience with many of the well-respected high-tech companies in Silicon Valley including: Burroughs, Unisys, Ford Aerospace, Loral/Lockheed Martin, NEC, Fujitsu, Network Peripherals, Silicon Graphics, Niksun. Mr. Masood has been responsible for:
Aug '06: CEO, Founder, founded Intilop corporation that develops advanced Network acceleration Silicon IPs and provides engineering and development services. In 2009 Intilop was the first company to develop and market Full TCP offload Engine Silicon IP, an Industry leading Flagship products;10G Ultra-low-Latency and 1G Ultra-low-Latency Full TCP Offload Engines, Intilop has been Revenue generating and profitable since then.
Sep.'00: VP of Development, started a new group that grew to 18 people, of Hardware and Software developers in CA, for Niksun, a NJ based company and lead/managed the team to successfully develop the first ATM/POS OC-12/48 line of boards that could monitor, capture and analyze Network traffic at 2.4-Giga bit rate. Sep. ’97: Principal Chip architect, lead a team of chip design/verification and firmware engineers to successfully develop a line of ‘Bridge chips/chipset’ for NEC’s high end MIPs RISC processors. Developed first chipset that included design and integration of 11 functional/IP blocks and a complete MAC core for 1G & 100 Mb Ethernet. Proposed to Motorola, won and successfully lead the development of the bridge chip being used in their Set-top box (DCT-5000, a 10M unit chip volume). Developing the first Chipset with integrated 133 MHz SDRAM , SRAM/133 MHz, RISC-CPU interface and a 64-bit/66 MHz PCI controller. Developed the first 3-D graphics architecture and board that utilized, four graphics processors in parallel simultaneously. Mr. Masood, previously did, hands on development of several leading edge computing systems, ASICs, SOCs that include: Fast-Ethernet switches and hubs, FDDI Network Interface cards, several multi-processing hardware boards, 3D graphics and Imaging subsystems capable of processing at high frame rates and driving multiple Ultra-high resolution (2K x 2.5) monitors. Mr. Masood has BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University, TX. He holds Patents with 20 claims in Network security and patents in Ultra-fast parallel processing. Has 2 patents that are filed.
